Job Description
The Academic Counsellor serves as the primary point of contact for students and prospective learners, providing guidance on academic programs, career pathways, and institutional resources. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the institution’s offerings, and the ability to nurture positive relationships to help students achieve their educational and career goals.

- Student Counselling :
• Advise students and parents on course selection, program details, and admission procedures.
• Understand the students’ academic and career goals and provide tailored recommendations.
• Address queries and concerns related to course structures, fees, and career outcomes. - Admissions Assistance :
• Assist prospective students through the enrollment process, including application completion and document submission.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for newly enrolled students. - Program Promotion :
• Conduct presentations, webinars, and counseling sessions to promote institutional programs.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to plan outreach activities and events. - Follow-up and Retention :
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents to ensure continued engagement.
• Identify and address challenges faced by students during their academic journey. - Data Management :
• Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, feedback, and interactions in the CRM system.
• Provide periodic reports on admissions, counselling sessions, and conversion rates.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of Animation / Digital Marketing Industry would be a plus.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in academic counselling, student services, or related roles.
• Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Empathetic and approachable demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
o Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
o Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
o Knowledge of academic programs and career trends in the education sector.
